Nintendo: Wii is irreplaceable

LAS VEGAS - Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said that while the Wii console sales growth continues to slow, but he's not thinking to make changes.

Nevertheless, Nintendo understands the importance of getting third party developers, in order to expand their game in 3D device, a portable game console that uses 3D technology.

"I do not think that there is an urgent need to replace the Wii. But of course, at some point in the future, the need will arise.," Iwata said, as quoted by PC Mag, Thursday (17/06/2010).

"We currently do not have answers to what point in the future that need to come," he added.

Iwata himself acknowledged this when Nintendo will still be focused on 3DS, which became their new toy.

Previously, Nintendo's portable gaming console technology ensures three-dimensional (3D), they will soon pitch in the exhibition of the world's largest video game, E3 2010.

Console Nintendo 3DS named are indeed awaited and very special for fans. The reason, Nintendo 3DS bring 3D gaming without the need for users to wear special glasses. According to a Japanese company, the 3DS will come with 3.5-inch screen size, and still comes with dual screens above and below.
